The speed regulating part of the speed regulating motor is composed of an electromagnetic slip clutch and a controller. The excitation voltage is adjusted through the potentiometer of the controller, and the power generation voltage of the tachometer generator is changed to change the speed of the clutch.



The speed-regulating motor sometimes does not regulate the speed during use. You can find the reason in the following aspects:



Use a multimeter to measure the three-phase cold DC resistance of the tachogenerator. If there is a two-phase disconnection, the speed can not be adjusted and the tachogenerator needs to be replaced; if only one phase is disconnected, the speed adjustment will not be affected.



If the above two items are normal, change the controller and try to see if it is normal.



The main reasons why the speed-regulating motor does not adjust the speed are the above three. Once such a failure occurs, please do not rush to the motor manufacturer to avoid wasting time and increasing transportation costs. Please find one by one according to the above methods!



What to do if the speed regulating motor fails!



Due to the environment and other aspects, in the long-term use of the speed-regulating motor, it is easy for dust, paper wool, metal shavings, etc. to enter the motor, affecting the normal operation of the motor!



The main engine speed drops periodically


This kind of situation is mostly caused by the failure of the mechanical part. There are many rubber rollers in the offset printing machine, and each rubber roller is supported by a bearing to rotate. If the bearing at either end of a rubber roller fails, it may cause the rotation speed of the main machine to periodically drop to the peak. In severe cases, the main machine will be more difficult to rotate. The bearing should be replaced immediately. In addition, you should pay attention to whether the bearings and lubrication parts of the main cylinder (including the printing plate, rubber, and impression cylinder) are working properly. If a failure occurs, the printing speed will also be affected!



In order to adjust the dynamic balance of the slip motor, the two ends of the armature and the magnetic pole rotor are respectively equipped with counterweight devices. If this part of the device is slightly loosened, the slip motor will deviate from its original position when rotating at high speed. If the fault occurs on the outer surface of the main drive motor, it will cause local friction between the armature and the magnetic pole rotor and increase the noise. At this time, it is necessary to stop the machine for repair, restore the dynamic balance of the armature and the magnetic pole rotor, and relocate the original dynamic balance weight and fix it, so that the main drive motor can run normally.
